On 28th of may 2018 a draft policy was issued by the Delhi Govt with sweeping changes in the charges levied by private hospitals in the Delhi,including a controversial proposition for a partial bill waiver if a patient dies within a day of being taken to a hospital emergency. If the patient dies within 6 hrs being taken to a hospital emergency 50% of the cost of the treatment  will be waived and if the patient dies within 24 hrs 20% of the total bill will be reimbursed. This draft also proposed that the doctors of the private hospitals should suggest drugs from the NLEM (National list of essential medicines)list,However in some cases if non-NLEM drugs are needed to be given then the patient should be consulted before administering drugs. Since our childhood we have seen erecting statues of people posthumously.From Mahatma Gandhi to Atal Bihari Vajpayee their statues were build posthumously and that too because they did amazing works for the welfare of India.On the other hand there are few people who erect their statues even after being alive and that too with the money of people. The one among them is Mayawati the leader of Bahujan samaj party(BSP).While she was the chief minister of uttar pradesh during 2007-12,she erected over 40 statues,icluding 6 of her own.Acoording to an estimate over Rs2600 crore of exchequer was spent to build memorials and statues in Lucknow,noida and some other place in uttar pradesh. The SC on 1st of february said that the money spent by the former chief minister of uttar pradesh should be reimbursed to the state exchequer.
