Chief Justice Of India has been alleged of sexually harassing a SC junior assistant.

A 35 yr old SC junior assistant wrote to 22 judges of the court on Friday April 19,alleging that Chief Justice Of India Ranjan Gogoi had made sexully advances on her at his residence office on October 10 & 11,2018.
''He hugged me around the waist and touched me all over my body with his arms and by pressing his body against mine,and didn't let go.He told me 'hold me',he didn't let go of me despite the fact that i froze and try to get out of his embrace by stiffening and moving my body away'' she wrote in an affidavit sent with a covering letter.

In response to this Gogoi said he would not stoop too low even to deny them.

In the affidavit the women said after she repudiated the chief justice of India,she was moved out of his office where she had been posted since August 2018.
Things didn't stop here.
1.December 21-2 months later She was dismissed from her service,reason being casual leave for 1 day without approval
2.December 28-Husband and brother-in-law who were head constables in Delhi Police were suspended,reason being a criminal case involving a colonial dispute dating back to 2012 that had been mutually resolved
3.January 11-She was asked to come to Chief justice's residence where Ranjan Gogoi's wife asked her to rub her nose at her feet.She followed it.
4.On January 14-Her disabled brother in law who appointed as a temporary junior court attendant under the quota of Chief Justice Of India was served termination letter.
5.March 9-When the former junior court assistant and her husband were at their ancestral village at Rajasthan,Delhi Police showed up,and wanting to take her back for questioning in a case based on a cheating complaint made against her.
6.March 10-Not only she and her husband but also her brother-in-law and her wife and one realtive were detained.The affidavit alleged that they were subjected to physical abuse,their hands and legs were cuffed and they were denied food and water for next 24 hrs.

Further she wrote in the affidavit
''I didn't have the courage to make this complaint earlier because i was terrified by the consequences to me and my family which i was threatened of and which have indeed come to pass subsequently.''

Since our childhood we have seen erecting statues of people posthumously.From Mahatma Gandhi to Atal Bihari Vajpayee their statues were build posthumously and that too because they did amazing works for the welfare of India.On the other hand there are few people who erect their statues even after being alive and that too with the money of people. The one among them is Mayawati the leader of Bahujan samaj party(BSP).While she was the chief minister of uttar pradesh during 2007-12,she erected over 40 statues,icluding 6 of her own.Acoording to an estimate over Rs2600 crore of exchequer was spent to build memorials and statues in Lucknow,noida and some other place in uttar pradesh.
