Mission Shakti: Congratulations to the entire country.

The entire nation was waiting for the important message of our PM Narendra Modi since the time he tweeted on 27th of morning that he has an important message to the country.

Later in the evening Prime Minister Of India announced successful launch of the country's first Anti-Satellite missile (ASAT).In an address to the nation he stated that India stuck down a live test satellite at 300 km altitude in Low Earth Orbit(LEO) thus successfully testing its ASAT missile.

The entire operation took only 3 mins.The test was carried out around 11:00 AM IST in Integrated Test Range(ITR),Chnadipur,Odisha.The operation was named as Mission Shakti.This missile system was developed by Defence Research And Development Organisation(DRDO).
Only USA,Russia,China and India has demonstrated this capability successfully.
The last nation to demonstrate ASAT capability was China when its test in 2007 was met with international disapproval.

Since our childhood we have seen erecting statues of people posthumously.From Mahatma Gandhi to Atal Bihari Vajpayee their statues were build posthumously and that too because they did amazing works for the welfare of India.On the other hand there are few people who erect their statues even after being alive and that too with the money of people. The one among them is Mayawati the leader of Bahujan samaj party(BSP).While she was the chief minister of uttar pradesh during 2007-12,she erected over 40 statues,icluding 6 of her own.Acoording to an estimate over Rs2600 crore of exchequer was spent to build memorials and statues in Lucknow,noida and some other place in uttar pradesh. The SC on 1st of february said that the money spent by the former chief minister of uttar pradesh should be reimbursed to the state exchequer.
